ok, so we made it to madrid.....through a blinding snowstorm.......really scary at some points...crept along in 3rd gear for 30 minutes or so......will try to put scratches on rental car out of my mind while in madrid...luckily we took taxi directly to hotel with no getting lost......internet cafe behind hotel...2 people standing behind me biting at bit to blog..they look vaguely familiar.........
