ok, so mm is reading absalom,absalom for book club, and she cannot help but to invision the role of narrator (aunt rosa) who is younger than the neice in the story and who was briefly engaged to her neice's father(her late older sister's husband) played by bette davis......i cannot get bette davis out of my head when i read rosa's dialogue.........i have no faces to put to other character's, and i have gone so far to determine that there has not been a movie version of this book (at least not one sold at half.com)...........maybe madonna will want to option it and try this part for herself as a way to reinvent herself as a serious actress.............
