ok, so i am still reading the laurie colwin book,......we are in 1968 when she dropped back into columbia just before the students for a democratic society (sds) staged a strike and took over the food service in which her apron read food/colwin.........at that time, her best friends name was reis (last name)....and the chapter is studded with reis this and reis that.............sounds very comforting.......columbis, and reis, and food, and laurie colwin..............
