more about baseball.....
ok, so my bartender, the octogenarian doorman, and i had a nice cry this morning over the redsox losing streak.....and their status as '1 game back'.......the conclusion we came to was much more optimistic......yes, they are 1 game back, BUT this is only june 2, and there are so many more games to play.....and it is easier to be #2 than it is to be #1........a little less pressure.........at least that theory sounded good to us...the new yorker had a cartoon in this issue that says it all.....
