chipper jones.....

ok, so i am on a baseball roll......and when i think beyond the yankees/redsox box......there is atlanta.....the last world series that my family watched with full attention was 1995......cleveland/atlanta.......we even dragged out my grandpa's picture.......so he could watch his tribe prevail....but it was not to happen.......because of people like tom glavine and chipper jones......chipper is still in atlanta, i see........the other thing i remember about that series was jane fonda sitting next to her then-spouse ted turner.......and she was literally hanging on him....as if he required public display of affection as part of her contract/bonus/agreement....i was embarassed for her....and sympathetic when she left him......especially given that he had kept a mistress during their all-to-public marriagehere's hoping that jane has re-discovered her liberal roots......and wil be a vital voice for the lost stepford wives of america...........
