lots of rain = too many weeds

ok, so this rainy week has caused weeds to take over the beds i cleaned out so faithfully on july 5, my day off.......this turn of events hardly seems fair, yet it happens every summer.........the roses come and go...the perennials come and go......and the weeds take over by mid-july......by the time labor day rolls around......i have to fill in with mums to give the beds a bit of color at our annual pound and pedal ride/run/picnic........ah well.........i did pulled out what i could....after today's rain.........the rest will have to wait until another day.......
