swim meet

ok, so i have doubtless said this before....and i apologize for saying it again........i would rather take a beating than attend a rec league swim meet........i got there late.....and still had to endure 2 hours of up and down the pool for a combined total of 175 swimmers............their team and ours......omg......one's own child is onlyin the pool for a maybe 6 minutes out of the entire meet......and the remaining time is spent making small talk.....i heard about the divorce of an aquaintance whose daughter may just want to be a dietitian.......that took up a bit of time off the clock......but basically it was an incredibly tedious evening..........more of the same next wednesday..........wait......bookclub is next wednesday......i have a reprieve.......that heavens for bookclub........
