the one where kathy drove all the way to richmond for nothing.....

ok, so.......my eku class starts tomorrow....and i am as prepared with regards to material to be covered as possible...the glitch came when the powers that be discovered that my previous eku-instructor employment was too long ago to use the old human resources paperwork...and that i would have to drive over to richmond to the mothership h.r. department to fill out the forms.....no one mentioned that in order to prove citzenship and employability i would need to bring along the requisite government issued i.d.'s.......a driver's license wasn't enough....one must have a s.s. card as well.......or a passport...which was back at home.....so i drove back home, then out to eku's local campus to present my credentials to the director so that she could fax it to the mothership......all this took 4 hours....including driving, finding a place to park, waiting......oy!....that will teach to me carry my passport at all times.......
