out of touch.....

ok, so i sat through the emmy's this evening despite the fact that i watched little actual television programming, and had seen few of the nominated performances.......i was aghast to discover that hugh laurie was not nominated for house.....one fo the few shows that i find appealing enough for a full hour of my attention.......i regretted not seeing elizabeth 1.....given my cable-free existence.....maybe it can be bought.......i am a huge fan of everything elizabeth.....despite knowing that it will always end the same way......ah well.......and tragically, stephen colbert lost to barry manilow in the variety/comedy category....and i shall not see the inevitable sour grapes show about this loss...given my cable-free vow......so who is laughing now?.......
