plethora

ok, so i have a plethora of tomatoes this evening to prepare.....from three different growers who shall remain....unknown..... in hopes they provide more.......but plethora is not the word of the day....no....i actually heard a word on the way to work that i looked up online before doing anything else.....despite the potential wrath of ernie f.....who probably would not understand the need to look up a word one heard on the way to work......it was in a piece about the folks moving back ever so slowly to the lower 9th ward.....diaspora- a term to describe people or things who are scattered with the wind....often used in relation to jews displaced by war......to be honest, i had never heard the term.......and could not wait to be able to put it context.....and the random flight from new orleans is a perfect use of the term.......not so with my tomatoes...nothing random about a meal with 3 varieties of yellow and red tomatoes..........yummmmmmm
