for the record....
ok, so.....u of k will offer during spring semester a world class linguist teaching a class so special that my eldest opted to accept the gaines fellowship, in part, as to be still on hand to take this class...on the phone last evening he was thrilled to report that he had signed up......just in case anyone as fascinated with word origins might want to drive to lex......
