quadruple header

ok,so.....a day of multiple sports.....our daughter ran varsity at the lex cath meet held at the horse park.....she ran a p.r......l.ess than 30 minutes for a 3,2 mile course....she was pleased despite finishing at the back of the pack....and so i treated her to a chinese buffet lunch....and arrived home in time to watch #1 osu vs unranked michigan state.......the score was 24-0 at the half, so i switched over to detroit-oakland on fox......detroit won the series at the bottom of the 9th......and after a quick soup supper we are watching the mets vs st louis.......too many sporting events for one day.......especially on a day when i received 2 lorrie moore books......an aside......mark r. the english professor stopped by the bike shop carrying an iris murdoch paperback......ernst ddn't catch the title.....and he reportedly mentioned that i am 'all over' iris murdoch.....which was true last week, but not quite true now that i have found lorrie moore......ah well........
