aftermath.....

ok, so....my brother just left for d.c........he will listen to the book on cd that i gave him to get through the 9 hour journey.......and for those of us who are here for the duration.......we have a refrigerator full of leftovers that must be consumed in the next few days.....much as i dislike leftovers....i am grateful to have something to fill in the gap between my frenzied bouts of cooking......i am a bit tired of cooking just now.....and of eating......maybe i'll do neither for a few days.......on this day i believe that we are doing the goodwill rounds......i am not quite certain, as i was awakened from a really cozy slumber at some point last evening by a child wielding a portable phone and saying something about 'between 9 and 10'........ah well......i may alter my usual route by going to h-burg, then l-burg then frankfort before turning toward the lex locations......last time i was in frankfort's goodwill there were lots of good clothing options.....at some point i need to tidy up this house....which is still strewn with the aftermath of opened packages.....but it will not be this day........
