ennui

ok, so....on my way home the evening business report guy used ennui in a sentence about the sluggishness of the stockmarket today......and i thought i knew whaty it meant, but was determined to keep that word in my head long enough to go home and look it up to be sure.......Listlessness and dissatisfaction resulting from lack of interest; boredom an underused word,eh?......though the sentiment it describes takes up more of my workday than i would prefer.......
