what to do with my day......

ok, so i have 5 more days off, including this day......and i really should do something useful with this extra time, like going through books and taking a load to the goodwill...of those that i will not read again or that lack intellectual merit.....i could also get books back into their 'sections'....the bookcase by the dining table is cookbooks/travel/gardening........but i noticed some novels here and there yesterday......and i may have to move my shelf of female authors upstairs to my personal bookshelves that line the walls on either side of and above my window/loveseat reading area......andrew's book overflow has taken over the shelving in the guest room...i may have him go through those books as i can no longer tell which were mine before his started to take over.....the upstairs guestroom has stacks of books that my daughter removed from her shelves....which i must go through before i load them up....as she tends to want to give away books that belonged to the boys that are too nice to give away.....or ones that i would want to read to grandchildren......i could start on all of this now......but i have not yet read any of my on-line newspaper sites (nytimes, wpost) and i am thoroughly enjoying my coffee sitting right here in this chair......doing nothing especially useful.......
