march madness.....

ok, so march is almost upon me.....and march is when i try to gear up for the garden....following is my tentative to-do list for march madness.....1) repair the pond....which no longer holds water for the louisiana iris 2) purchase new concrete urns....substantial urns this time.. to replace the faux-terracotta ones that have cracked and don't drain well.....durham's in stanford has some that i like by the owner's driveway...if the owner has them, they can be gotten from somewhere....... 3)clean out the deadwood from the beds 4) fix the lattice on the trellis....should have asked for this as a birthday tribute....5)weed and feed the yard....hope springs eternal......6)repaint the porch floor and the porch railings....when the weather warms up......7) ask the neighbor to build a square table for the deck to sit alongside the long deck table...the one that doesn't quite seat our family......)repaint the benches.....anything else?
