hot soup.....

ok, so i have spent the last 2 hours of my life at a middle school soccer field...in wind-chill conditions....and soon this mug of leek and spinach soup will have thawed out my stiffened joints...the soup is not what it could have been....i should have taken the time to have added peeled and diced potatoes.....so that it would be thicker.....and a bit of half&half would improve its watery mouth-feel.....but i shan't complain because a mug of hot soup in the hand is worth.....lots right this second.....
