yet another rolling stone list that is flawed and silly

ok, so rolling stone has released a list of 40 songs that changed the world....and britney spears has a song on the list...which taints it from the get-go.....what were they thinking....when i think about music that changed my 'world' so to speak.....interested me in breaking out of monkees mode.......i'd have to include beck's devil's haircut, joni mitchell's yellow taxi, and woodie guthrie's this land is your land....yeah, well....the guthrie song is older than me.....or almost so...but it did change the perspective of many a flower child rallying against the war...but britney spears.....?.......has nothing profound to say in front of or in back of the microphone.......
