julia stiles

ok, so....i read today that julia stiles, late of the bourne ultimatum is in pre-production to play esther greenwood in the bell jar, the autobiographical novel by sylvia plath.....she is perfect choice for this role, being of similar facial type....and being naturally serious....as opposed to g. paltrow who played plath most recently in film....her portrayal was rather shallow and certainly lacked the kind of intellectual mania that i detect every time i read the bell jar......my copy is threadbare, by the way.....and not because i have much in common with esther.....but this book is so brutally honest about this woman's feelings that i cannot help coming back again and again
