My old ky home.....

ok, so the toilet in the upstairs bathroom has had it's troubles for quite some time....the inner tank workings rusted through and have been replaced.....which should have been end-of-story......but over the weekend the base slowly stopped fulfilling its purpose.....at first we thought it was simply a clog...but now that we have removed the unit to the front yard and can run water from the hose through it without impedance...we are perplexed.....maybe it wasn't clogged after all....and we dragged the thing away from it's 20=year home for nothing.......for the record, the site badtoilets.com was quite enlightening on the subject......ah well.....we are down a commode, but certainly not out.....
