overnight lows......

ok, so.....the race sponsored by db&f is history......with only a few glitches.....i managed the water, gatorade, and fruit (grapes/banana halves) at the finish.....and ran out of cups when things were wrapping up......who knew that folks would take 2-3 cups, down them all, and then come back for yet another cup...rather than to refill the first cup...it was madness.....but next year i'll be more prepared.......sadly, the clear plastic cups were #6 and non-recyclable.....the weather for the race was mighty pleasant......only in the upper 70's....and the temp dipped way down last evening....so much so that i should have gotten up and closed the window, as i was so very cold i dreamed about going through drawers in a home on a country road in rural virginia.....looking for long sleeve shirts and socks.......i have no idea whose guest i might have been...only that there was a lot of snow and we were going cross country skiing.....i passed on a few tops because of the curious artwork....one 'longjohn top' has a painted picture of a woman with long blonde hair and a unicorn.....neither of which are my style.....too bad that we went from too hot to keep the windows open, to too cold to keep the windows open in a single weekend........
