baseball ......

ok, so in october my interest in baseball soars if.....somebody has a shot at beating the nyyankees......and/or cleveland is playing......or cincinnati...but this has not happened in quite some time......my grandpa from cleveland was a lifelong fan...and as i type his photograph is on top of the television cabinet....and i credit him for the rejuvenated tribe......though even my grandpa cannot take credit for the pitching last evening of a fellow by the name of byrd.....who looked like a crazy combination of jack nicholson and garrison keillor......i half-expected this guy to break into a really good tale.......the indians need a win tomorrow evening to earn their world series berth......my eku lecture tomorrow starting at 6 pm is on a single chapter....on drugs, by the way.....my auditor today cited us for failing to warn each and every client of the dangers of illegal drugs (and alcohol and cigarettes).....this is a touchy subject to weave into conversation without the client replying with an angry 'do i look like i do drugs?'....this has actually happened to me...and this is why i am loathe to bring up more than secondhand smoke....but i digress.......i will be able to make it home by the first pitch......
