art......

ok, so.....i have not updated the wall decorations in my house for.....25+ years.....what is there has always been there...no matter what wall one looks at...and so this evening was a freeing experience....i bought a piece from one of the artists in the shop.....part of a series of jazz related acrylics.....a woman playing piano in pink and green with a touch of mustard and the soul of the piece done in pen/ink......and in order to place it just so in my front room i will have to move something out.....or many somethings out.....and this could be a very good thing......i came close to buying another piece.....already framed in fall colors that would have looked lovely with a pastel piece my middle child did in high school....a remarkable work, so says his mamma......but it is his piece and i should not pairing it up like it will stay here.....he will want it to serve as the foundation of his own busy wall decoration at some point.....
