looking for a silver lining

ok,so.....i have put off blogging about our impromptu trip to new jersey.... because this blog is mostly about recording the highlights of my life to help me remember when my memory starts to fade.....and so far there are few details that i will want to relive at a later date...i will surely remember that in my rush to pack i neglected to bring any sort of jacket or sweatshirt.....expecting the forecasted heatwave rather that a cold rain.....i will surely not forget the kindness of people who helped us tie up loose ends and/or connect the dots.....yes....there are many events, conversations and emotions that i will be able to evoke at some less harried date without this blog as reference...and that which i allow myself to forget will be worth the forgetting...
