spearmint

ok, so......during the summers of my youth it was customary to spend a week with each grandmother....on such an occasion i doubled up with my cousin john down on my crown grandparent's farm.....the upstairs bedroom had 2 doubled beds...and room for 2 more.....we entertained ourselves before bed with stories.....i clearly recall john retelling a story he had already told our cousin janet.....a story he had named spearment...i have no recollection what the story had to do with mint, or the mint family.....just that the story was named after a natural flavor......
