ok, so i am trying to learn spanish food words- some we already know- like huevos (eggs), tortilla (which means omelet in spain), jambon (ham) pimiento (pepper) bonito (tuna) pan (bread) cafe (coffee) aquacat (avocado) languostine (small lobster or large shrimp) calamare (calamari) vino (wine) caliente (hot....) pollo (chicken) - with just these words i can eat something.............most of the vegetables have unrecognisable names.......as do most of the fishes, meats, and beverages.....even beer is a different name from what i thought- cervaces (ther-va-thas) or something like that.....i like biero better but i probably wouldn't get a beer in returno.........good gracious- i hope they do not serve theme beer- like pumpkin beer or pimiento beer in these little tapas places............this could be culinary hell......
