ok, so yesterday i went to lexington to do a little goodwill shopping.........drove up in ecw's convertible with the top down......lovely drive on route 68 through the palisades listening to prairie home companion..........located the goodwill on clay's mill, though was unimpressed.......whoever puts stuff on racks cannot tell men's from women's things, nor adult clothing from children's clothing.......both men's and women's shirts and pants appeared to be smashed together, plus the a.c. was out, so the store was like a sauna.....i left without purchasing anything........i did find some nice limited too and gap things for cayle..........ecw wants me to downplay the purchase of goodwill items when it comes to cayle, lest she think that she isn't worth spending money on...........or worse, that we are too poor to dress her properly.........bottom line.....i find the purchase of gently used clothing to be a fine bargain, that allows the savings to be used for travel......scw is laughing at my last statement............i will not erase it as i will not be edited by my children.........
on the way back i got caught in the tremendous downpour......it was raining so hard that i pulled off into a church parking lot to wait out the worst of it..........and listened to le show while i waited...........that is a radio broadcast that one must be in a certain mood to enjoy............
