the violet window.....

ok so....with all of the flowers in bloom outside, i overlooked the brilliant show in the window we installed beside the fireplace.....this window provides morning light to a room darkened by the front porch, which essentially blocks light from the east....seems african violets love morning light.....and so the 2 pots of bright pink and purple violets are now at riot stage......wow.....too bad they are not fragrant.....that would be icing on the cake......
