gay marriage

ok, so mm has an opinion the subject.......i was so touched to read about the couple who were married yesterday in sf........they had been together almost as long as i have been alive.....and they chose to be publically cemented as person and person..................and yet the neysayers have already filed suit...................as if those two people's odds-defying relationship somehow impacts their sense of family/home/values..................how silly....................in my own life...so many hetero relationships did not last out the 1year/2 year or anywhere close..............and they spent outrageous amounts of cash on a doomed relationship..............the bottom line.............in a country where government separates church and state....how can the legislature rule on marriage anyway....................................isn't it the churche's job....................
