37 degrees....

ok, so the temps reportedly dropped to near-freezing last night.....this low is not an issue form of our blooming trees....in that they have already bloomed and it is too late for the emerging bloom to burn off.....the lilac is just emerging....and i am a bit concerned about that bush/tree....which has bloomed poorly for years due to late freezes.......and then there are the boxwoods, which literally freezer-burned last year to the point that all new growth had to be trimmed off to get rid of the unsightly dead plant matter.....ah well....the daffodils and grape hyacinths looked un-phased by the cold-snap.....
