ok, so my mind works like this........i read a few articles from salon.com ...which referenced an article in the new yorker about katie couric........then moved on to the new yorker...trying to read the katie couric article before i recieve my copy inthe mail....usually on wednesday.......no so luck......but i notice that there is an article about winslow homer......i discovered that he got his start illustrating harpers magazine's coverage of the civil war.....before he moved on to paiiting sea scenes and the like....and then i pondered my own favorite winslow homer print.....of two boys in a field.....and realized that i did not know the name of that print (it hangs in my own living room......)and so i googled homer prints....only to discover that it is called 2 boys in a pasture.....i just love this print......though it has nothing to do with katie couric....
