sally holmes
ok, so this is the group of roses that will take the place of the lately diseased and removed snowbush, a regal rose that completely sheltered us from view of the house across the street......i have read up on rosettes disease...seems it spreads by a mite, but treating the soil or roses themselves with anti-mite powder is not suggested.....all that i must do is to make sure that all remaining rose roots are removed (and burned).....these plants should arrive soon....and will hopefully fill in our little corner quickly........unlike the last rose, sally holmes blooms all season.....should be a glorious addition to our landscaping scheme.....
