how i spent(wasted) my day.......

ok, so i spent my day at a state-mandated training.......perusing over powerpoint-slide reprints as they were read for me......by the person with the mike.......boldly refraining from taking tedious notes on said powerpoint reprints......and all while pondering just how anal state policy-makers can be.....especially considering that said state policymakers, for the most part, have never been pregnant, and therefore have never breastfed or fed toddlers..............i hesitate to use the praise ivory tower, as we are in ky....but i came away with the palpable feeling of a gap between science and first-hand experience..........
