back to reality

ok, so....i must go back to real work this morning.....starting with prenatal clinic and moving on to my anderson county diabetes support group from 7-8 pm....and despite my 8.5 hours of sleep i feel about 100.5 years old......i fully expect my co-workers to continue to fuss about why the state diabetes people funded this educational opportunity, and their programs either did not fund specialty training, or they didn't know it was possible to ask......either way.....this will be a grumbling and whisper-ridden reunion, rather than a nice-to-have-you back occasion.....ah well.....and i don't even have the ipod as my consolation prize.....it has been co-opted by my youngest child.....who also grumbled about why she didn't get to go.....no place to hide.....
