feedback on 14 transactions

ok, so......i prefer to buy my books through half.com...which allows for the purchase of used/not necessarily brand-spanking new books.....at far less than the new versions might be on a-zon or b-n......even with shipping.....and one of the requisites with this purchase system is that one must rate the seller....half.com will pester you until you take the time to rate the seller(s)...in this case......i seem to have purchased 14 paperbacks since i last left buyer comments.....9 of these were for bookclub....and therefore i have only read the handmaid's tale our of that crop......and then there were the new (to me) m.f.k. fisher books......those who will live in france should read at least one of her memoir-ish food essays....the piece she wrote about eating lunch at a far-flung multi-star restaurant in the off-season while she was out on a day-long walk is priceless...it is called 'i was really very hungry' in some of her collections.....and then the two carson mcculler novels....i have plowed my way through these last purchases......and will now start reading bookclub books early.....which is problematic...in that when that bookclub meeting comes around, my spouse will be reading the book in question, and my access to it for refreshing my memory will be wanting......ah well.....must get some errnads out of the way this morning before i entertain the luxury of settling in with an unread book......
