ok, so i spoke too soon about the justice who was supposed to retire last week, and how he must have decided not to do so......and now sandra d 'c has decided to do just that.....i have mixed feelings about her departure......she was basically conservative....appointed by a conservative president..........but i agreed with her recent dissenting opinion on the eminent domain issue......and on her contention that dna testing must be a positive match in death penalty cases......but other of her opinions i have difficulty with.....and thus the ordeal to pick a replacement........one that can make it through a senate fillibuster......because the democratic senators have already promised a fillbuster in the event of a radically conservative nominee.....dubya best choose wisely on this nominee.....
