wasted nights...

ok, so i wasted 4 perfectly good hours last evening attending a training put on by the red cross on how to open up a shelter.....mostly what the leader emphasized, along with story after story of her vast knowledge of shelter management, was that if there was another emergency like the ice storm we would all be on our own because she doesn't live or work in our county and she wouldn't be coming over to help us....this is how she handled the ice storm, so i suppose she is simply being consistent in how she doles out her vast knowledge.....
