a wild onion sort of day....

ok, so yesterday, after church and before walking on the treadmill.....i decided to pull the returning clumps of wild onions.....those that have sprung up since the last time i pulled onions.....the weather and soil conditions were perfect......they came up in lovely earthen clumps.......this means nothing in the long run, sadly....as entire clumps seem to spring from single springs left behind from the grasping of clumps.....i have said this before, but it needs to be said again.....that after 26 years of pulling onions from these beds there really should be no onions left.....
