ok, so my spanish words of the day involve food equipment:
la cuchara; el tenedor; el cuchillo ( spoon, fork and knife.....) these words may come in handy..... ironically, my darling husband knows the spanish word for beer, from the year he spent in texas as a counselor at a camp for delinquent boys....i guess after a shift with formerly knife-wielding 11-year olds, he needed a cervasa or dos........

I am frustrated because the hotel in barcelona has not emailed back since i requested a reservation on saturday. i have sent my email again- and hope that i can nail down this initial 3 day-stay......

it must be said that these spanish words are part procrastination- as i take my 5-year diabetes educator recertification exam Oct 26-i really should be studying diabetes medication interactions..........
