set things on fire......

ok, so my daughter has got a problem with pyromania.........she was busted for trying to light candles after breakfast on monday.........we have no idea what made her think that monday morning just before we leave the house was a good time to light a candle.....well, today she lighted some candles at grandma's house, and she actually set some things on fire.......luckily grandma was quick to put out the fire............this is scary...the impulsivity involved......it kind of reminds me of my dad, who once tried to set our family portrait aflame while my mom was in the basement trying to organize things to move south to ky........she put it put before the house caught on fire...........but the whole thing....the fire, my dad with alzheimers....the family portrait.....seems too freudian........quite unsettling.........
