sound of music

ok, so we sat and watched the first part of the sound of music last night, despite the fact that we have watched it dozens of times before and we had no intention of staying up to watch it til it's conclusion. we did debate the oscar wins for this fine film....for the record.......it won best picture and best director and best sound and a few other techie types, but lost for best actress and best supporting actress and best song.............julie andrews was robbed, i say.............earlier in the evening we watched u of l beat u of k..............such a sad game that started well and went to hell.....we did enjoy the short uk player from the bench named stockton.....he showed great grit for a guy 5 foot 9 inches........our new computer will be installed this afternoon............alas.......the data transfer will be brief, as our old computer has no usb port, and with windows 95 as its operating system cannot support a usb port..........at least according to my brother.........so all of my personal downloads are now stuck in scw's room......you never know...he may enjoy listening to guster sing mrs. robinson or sarah mchlauchlan and jewel singing closer to fine with the inigo girls.................
