setting the stage

ok, so mm and her kin have just watched the entire extended version of lotr/the two towers.........hours and hours of extra footage( or it just seemed so) with many moments that we could not believe were left out............of course.....the extended version is so long that the theatres could have only one sitting an evening, unless they did an all-nighter of some kind for the stalwart fans........speaking of fans...at the end of the extended version of the two towers, the producers thanked all of the charter members of the lotr fan club............endless names in alphabetical order....i gave up and quit watching after it was clear that there were many crowleys but no crowns or c-w's................i cannot wait to see the final installment of this marvelous epic...........
