csi-lincoln county- episode 2

ok, so...remember a few weeks ago when i blogged about my thursday workmates playing amateur sleuthes.....peeking in the windows of the car illegally parked behind the building, discovering that the person in question lived just up over the hill within eyesight of the parking lot......and that there was a baby seat in the back that must not be needed just then.....well...the plot thickened today.....the car arrived this afternoon, in broad daylight.....and by the time the woman driving had unloaded her toddler and the carseat into the silver car that arrived in the lot right behind her, every eye in the building was upon them all......and when the fella she was meeting tried to make a quick getaway, he backed right into the wooden trash dumpster.....(and when i say backed into it....he literally left a top-to-bottom gash.....)...and without bothering to stop to survey the damage to our dumpster or his car...he peeled out.....squealing tires and all....the director had his tag number by this time, and was calling the police......rats....i had to leave before the cops had come in to interview witnesses....should be an interesting story to tell next thursday.....
