homestretch

ok, so.........with bookclub looming on thursday......my yard and garden projects are in the homestretch......the porch has been painted....though i did not paint the steps.....cannot decide whether to let the existing paint completely flake off to scrape them and paint as if the rain will not cause the same problem again.....i also painted the porch furniture.....mulched the remaining beds.....and weeded a bit....i have not yet gone around and picked up the remains of several weeding attempts....that is on my yet-to-do list.....but that list is getting smaller and smaller.....at some point i will declare this garden finished....and hang up my soiled gloves......and then move on to the food prep part of this soiree......aside from grilling pork chops and salmon.....the remaining memu is yet a mystery.....best get moving on that part, eh?
