nancy passes on.....

ok, so danville doyenne nancy alcock passed away yesterday, at the age of 88......she was one complicated piece of work....i can say this because i have catered for her, slogged over to her house in thunderstorms to bring her her carryout supper, and even had to find a gentle way to answer her concerns way back when i was still in the food business: 'i saw your son walking with the daughter of the toy box people- if they were to get married, who would cater the wedding?.....only nancy would have worried about something so less likely to happen......may she rest in peace......
