ok, so i am listening to meanmamma mix, my xmas gift from acw.....neil young harvest moon......and thinking about book club..wednesday night.....about the lewis and clark expedition...and thinking about the language barrier.....so many different indian dialects.....so few interpretors for the size of the group.....so many times that the whole thing could have falllen apart over misunderstandings....of course, l&c lacked a linguistic backseat driver who corrected their every attempt to speak the language......
