ok, so the 'splendid table' interviewed moby this morning on npr about his new restaurant on the lower east side of nyc- called 'teany' because it IS teeny and because they serve tea in ny...get it? tea ny? it is a vegetarian cafe/tearoom with 97 kinds of tea available so far...the locaation was chosen because it was within walking distance of both moby's place and the apartment of his ex-girlfirend who runs the place.....he can therefore walk to get a good meal whenever he is in town...he said that the only rule that he has imposed as owner is the one where no moby music will be played..at any time.....he didn't say anything about a ban on eminem music....but i am certain that the ban on that artist is also implied........moby declined to classify his place as a celebrity hangout.....in that it is so small....not a place to see and be seen.......
