ok, so book club was interesting........i, and the person who picked the book, were the only people to actually finish it.......everyone else bailed somewhere amongst the confusion that is absalom,absalom...some read only a few pages before picking up a more interesting book......i finished it because i was afraid i would be the only one there who had not finished it...........thus the discussion.......how can a book so painful to read, with such a painful story line, be considered great literature, especially when there are so many books that are so readable and with great stories............anyway, i am glad that this book is behind us.....next....to kill a mockingbird.......
