new places

ok, so mm has gone out of her way to see new places on this trip to paris.......today we went to musee jaquemart-andre......a house on blvd haussmann that was the treaaure torve of a rich couple who collected art, furniture and entertained the paris elite at the turn of the century.....we had lunch in a lovely room with a frescoed ceiling brought back from italy.....i had a salad plate with warm goat cheese, thin ham, mixed greens, tapanade, and lovely cherry tomatoes.......life is good, especially with a bottle of dry reisling.........we have settled our hotel bill, and it was less than we had been quoted on line..........we did not bring up the discrepancy...........that almost makes up for the poor exchange rate we have gotten on this trip......we did go to some of the same old places also....dehillerin for housewares and the fabric stores near sacre coeuer....i found no fabric, but that is ok..............looking forward to flying home tomorrow........speaking of goat cheese, i bought a jar of goat cheeses in oil...hopefully it will travel well......
