weekend roundup.......

ok, so here in no particular order is a rundown the week's many 'tales of woe'............the lunchtime dishwasher hospitalized in lexington/wife says he is too ill to ever work again.......the nighttime dishwasher walks out because he has to babysit his older girlfriend's child while she works...........the electricity went out........the convection oven burns out a fuse.........the food delivery truck is late on the day we have 3 carryout orders............my kitchen help was late to work on critical days........the handwashing sink got backed up on the same day that the faucet decided to leak, causing flooding............the grill was left on all night(luckily the place did not burn down........).......the local doyenne caused a minor scene during a busy lunch.........employee bickering reached new lows of pettiness..............i have said this before....it is no wonder that chefs/restaurant owners turn to the bottle...................
